With effect from December 1, 2022, Mrs. Mayowa Olaniyan has been named the new Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Charms Holding Company Plc.
The appointment of Mrs Olaniyan started with the retirement of Mr. Gavin Young, the group managing director and chief executive officer, He retired after three years of service with Chams Plc, according to a notification the Chams Plc sent to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and the investing public.
In a corporate document obtained by 2ndtopost Blog, the company also announced the appointment of Oloruntoba Ayodele as the new Group Chief Financial Officer effective from November 1.
Mrs Mayowa Olaniyan in 2011/2012 served as the Chams Group’s (GH) Group Head of Internal Audit and Risk Management. From 2012 to 2013, she served as Chams Plc’s General Manager of Finance and Accounts. 2014 to 2015, she served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of Special Duties. she served as Executive Director of Chams Plc. She joined ChamsMobile Limited in 2020 and was promoted to managing director/Chief Executive Officer seat.

Mrs Olaniyan known as CO will be resuming to the office of Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Chams Plc (GMD/CEO) at No. 8 Louis Solomon Cl, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria starting from December 1st, 2022.

She started working at Supercard Limited, a Chams Plc subsidiary at the time, as an Assistant General Manager (Corporate Services), where she was in charge of the business’s corporate operations.
