The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, COSEYL has congratulated the former Lagos State Governor, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu, on his victory as the All Progressive Congress, APC, candidate for the 2023 general elections.
DAILY POST earlier reported that the national leader of APC was announced the winner of the party’s presidential election on Wednesday after defeating the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi.
Reacting, COSEYL in a statement issued by its President General, Goodluck Ibem said Bola Tinubu’s victory came as a result of perseverance, courage, persistence and hard work.
“As the elections approach, we urge all political actors across party lines to make sure that this electioneering season is free from hatred and bitterness. The goal of all political parties should be on the development and progress of our dear nation.
“We urge all political parties and their candidates to ensure their campaigns are orderly, peaceful and issue-based.
“We Congratulate other APC presidential aspirants who contested for the mature and peaceful manner they conducted themselves while the exercise lasted”.
