Earlier today , terrorists stormed St Francis Xavier catholic church Owo Ondo state. At the verge of the mass dismissal as stated by the presiding priest in the mass , the terrorists entered the church and shot sporadically at worshippers, leaving over 50 people dead and several children also. It is a black Sunday for christians as they are in a festive mood of there celebration called the ” Pentecost”. In a post by Vatican news, it states " Pope Francis expresses his condolences for the victims of a terror attack on a Catholic Church in Nigeria’s southwestern Ondo State which killed over 50 people, including several children." Furthermore,
” The Pope prays for the victims and for the country, painfully attacked at a time of celebration, and he entrusts everyone to the Lord, that God might send His Spirit to console them,” said Matteo Bruni, the Director of the Holy See Press Office, on Sunday”.
