Gernot Rohr’s men were unbeaten as they won Group L with 14 points, while the second ticket in that group will be decided between Benin and Sierra Leone in June.
The three-time African champions sealed a place in Cameroon 2021 last weekend as Super Eagles will be seeded in next year competition after previously third at the last edition in Egypt two years ago and their past records in Afcon.
However, 23 teams have so far qualified for the biennial competition which was postponed to 2022 between January 9 to February 6, 2022 due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.
