
Odunlade Adekola began on 31st December, 1978. He is a many-sided person, he is a singer, actor, director, and producer. He is also famous for his recent movie “Adebayo Aremu Abere.” Although Odunlade Adekola was born in Abeokuta, which is the capital of the Ogun state, the actor is from Ekiti state.

Odunlade Adekola went to St John’s Primary School and then had his secondary school education at St. Peter’s College in Abeokuta. After the graduation, Odunlade continued his education in Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.
Talking about Odunlade Adekola’s acting career, it started at a very early age in church, Christ Apostolic Church, Lafenwa, Abeokuta. He and his friends would play jesters during church programs. Odunlade also wrote write mini-scripts with only characters (Odunlade and his friend) for plays.

At that time Odunlade joined the Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts practitioners. He was a student of Nollywood actor Durojaiye. Since that time Adekola has acted in more than 100 Yoruba movies. Some of the best movies of Odunlade Adekola are considered to be:

Of course, Odunlade receives a lot of awards for his amazing acting job. In April 2014, Odunlade took the Africa Movie Academy Award, as best actor of the year. But acting is not the only job and passion for Odunlade, in December 2015, he launched his music career.
As an accomplished actor, he has won several awards, some of which include City People Entertainment Awards Best Actor of the Year (2014).

Right now Odunlade is the CEO of Odunlade Adekola Film Productions where he trains upcoming actors and actresses. He has some protégé in the industry. One of which is Tunde Owokoniran popularly called Tilapia. The actor graduated from the school in 2014.
